Amazon has unveiled an upgraded version of its Kindle e-book reader, which is thinner and lighter than the previous one. The New kindle e-book reader replaces the old one with some great features and added style to it. The new Version has a more rounded design which makes it easier to hold. Apart from all the changes, the new Kindle e-book reader has the same price as the previous version. The new version will weigh 5.7 ounces (161 grams), about 16 percent less than the current version. It also is about 11 percent thinner (9.1 mm).

Amazon claims that the New Kindle e-book Reader is Glare free in any setting, even in direct sunlight as it sports a High Contrast Touchscreen display. The battery life of kindle is also improved now it can last for a week on a single charge.
The new Kindle will have twice as much memory capacity as its older version. The new model will hold about the same number of books but with a better and high-speed processor.
The new model comes with built-in Bluetooth audio support, and it will not require a $20 adapter for VoiceView users. The users can connect via Bluetooth to similarly equipped speakers or headphones. The visually impaired users can use the VoiceView screen reader on Kindle which reads the content on the screen like books and other Kindle contents. In the new Kindle, the user can also export notes, highlights from a book to their mail. The users can also send the note in a PDF or a simple file.
The new Kindle is priced at Rs. 5,999 in India and $79.99 in the US. It is available to pre-order around the world and will start shipping from July 7.
