How to block unsolicited or advertisement emails in Gmail
Gmail users might have irritated many times for having social media trolls, advertisements and unsolicited email. It happens, thousand Gmail users may have woken up in the morning and find a message with the subject line: “Today’s Big Data Explosion,” or somewhat as well unwanted. That email was not advertising from a long-forgotten e-commerce website. It was an advertisement directly from Google, coming next to your valid email.

And it’s not just email spam that’s messing up your inbox. Users may like to have minimum emails in their inbox which are really needed separated from constant notification emails from social media sites, your bank and all other sites where usres have online engagement?

Fortunately, Gmail makes it easy to block emails from email addresses you’re not interested in.

Steps to Block Emails in Gmail

Step-1: Browse the link : mail.google.com and enter your Google Account credentials.
Step-2: Look for an email from the individual, business organization, or accidental address that needs to block.
Step-3: Open the email you want to block.
Step-4: Click on the down arrow on the same line as the sender’s name/address.
Step-5: Select Block “[Sender’s name/address]”.

Steps to Unblock Emails in Gmail

If you by mistake block the wrong email, don’t worry, it can be corrected:

Step-1: Open Gmail Account.
Step-2: Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Step-3: Select Settings.
Step-4: Click on the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab at the top of the page.
Step-5: Find by scrolling down to the following email addresses is blocked.
Step-6: Select the check box at left side, the address you want to unblock.
Step-7: Click on Unblock Selected Addresses.
