How to use WhatsApp on your desktop computer

Most people have been passionate toward using smartphone to enjoy their regular chat services of Whatsapp messaging app.

You can use WhatsApp, on your desktop apart from smartphones or handheld devices. If this information is out of your awareness or you might have heard it but don’t know how to use the Whatsapp on the desktop. Here we will discuss simple steps to use this app on your desktop.

You may use WhatsApp on your desktop with two ways.

No.1: Use it through the WhatsApp Web feature on your browser. The link is https://web.whatsapp.com/
but, in this method you have to go the link and login each time whenever you want to use this app on your
browser.

No.2: You may download the WhatsApp for Windows or Mac. In this method the added advantage is that logging is automatic when you turn on your computer. Its very simple and convenient.

Step 1:
Download WhatsApp app for your desktop. Visit the link here .

Step 2:
Install the app on your desktop. No additional plugins are needed and is ready to use once the installation is complete.

Step 3:
When you open the WhatsApp desktop app, you will find a known preface screen which is parallel to the one from WhatsApp Web. Scan the QR code and voila, you’re ready to chat with your friends and family.

To get flawless transfer of messages, it is suggested that you maintain both your computer and smartphone connections under the same network.

When you turn on your desktop, you will be automatically logged in to the app by following steps below.

Step 1:

On the left-hand side, you will find the menu button. From where you can phone status, profile image and gain access to app settings and notifications.

Step 2:

Go to “Desktop settings”. This will take you to the primary settings of the desktop app. Then select the enable option to login at start-up.

Once you complete all these steps, you’re ready to use the Whatsapp instant messaging app in your desktop.
