Everyone’s favorite and very popular messenger app Whatsapp has launched Whatsapp Desktop App for Windows and Mac. After a series of new features and developments in mobile app of Whatsapp, they have introduced it to increase its user’s list. Currently, there are over billions of WhatsApp users.Earlier many of the people were accessing WhatsApp on the desktop through Bluestacks App, and WhatsApp web app that allows users to read and send messages from a desktop browser.

Few months back, Whatsapp company introduced new Emoji’s on the app. WhatsApp doesn’t stop there only they introduced new features like easy Link sharing and Shared Links Tab in its Mobile app.
Recently Whatsapp added the end-to-end encryption and documents sharing feature. The recent update of Messenger brought the group calling feature that supports a maximum 16 contacts at a time.
There are rumors on the internet that WhatsApp is going to add call back button, zip file sharing support and voicemail. According to the recent report of the Android Police WhatsApp is working on Video Calls and NFC tags feature. Currently, beta participants are using this feature, whether it will be available for all users? The question still unsolved
WhatsApp stated in a blog post, “Today we’re introducing a desktop app, so you have a new way to stay in touch anytime and anywhere – whether on your phone or computer at home or work. Like WhatsApp Web, our desktop app is simply an extension of your phone: the app mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device.”
To download the WhatsApp Desktop App visit https://www.whatsapp.com/download. Open the app and scan the QR code using the WhatsApp app on the smartphone. You can look for WhatsApp Web menu under Settings.
The Whatsapp Desktop App is available for Windows 8 and above and for Mac OS 10.9 and above.The WhatsApp Desktop App gets synced with WhatsApp on the smartphone.The desktop app is a native app; users will get support for native desktop notifications, better keyboard shortcuts, and more.
